Champions League – Tournament Format
The tournament consists of 16 teams playing across 8 courts. Each match lasts 20 minutes, and every team plays a total of 6 matches during the tournament.
Group Stage
The 16 teams are divided into 4 groups of 4 teams. Each team plays every other team in its group once, resulting in 3 group-stage matches per team.
After all group-stage matches have been completed:
- The top 2 teams from each group advance to the 1st–8th place playoffs.
- The bottom 2 teams from each group advance to the 9th–16th place playoffs.
Playoffs
Both playoff brackets consist of 8 teams and begin with the quarterfinals. Every team plays 3 playoff matches, regardless of whether it wins or loses.
In the 1st–8th place playoffs, quarterfinal winners continue towards the championship, while losing teams continue playing to determine the lower positions. For example, a team that loses its quarterfinal will subsequently compete for 5th–8th place.
The same system applies to the 9th–16th place playoffs, where teams compete to determine their final positions within the bottom half of the tournament.
This means that every team receives a final position from 1st to 16th and plays exactly 6 matches: 3 group-stage matches and 3 playoff matches, each lasting 20 minutes.
The winner of the final in the 1st–8th place playoffs is crowned the Champions League tournament winner.
